Although the use of mobile phones for treatment delivery in substance using populations is increasing and have recently expanded to use with adolescents, there are no studies examining acceptability and preferences among adolescents in treatment for substance use.  MiSkills studies in the lab focus on examining acceptability and preferences among adolescents in treatment for substance use and focus on key features used in current mobile phone-based apps (e.g., GPS). The purpose of these studies is to generate research that will inform developers of digital treatments of adolescent preference for design features, content, and guidelines for ethical practice.
