iParent is the name of an aftercare app for caregivers of youth exiting treatment for outpatient substance use treatment that Dr. Ryan-Pettes is building. It is currently in the formative work stage. Dr. Ryan-Pettes has conducted a series of studies to characterize mobile phone use and ownership in this population, to examine caregiver desire for mobile phone-based aftercare, and to examine specific content caregivers would desire to be part of mobile phone-based aftercare.
